These APIs provide full access to our structured-wiki content data in XML and JSON formats. It does not provide data specific to our userbase. You must sign up for a unique api key for each site individually. We ask that you respect the following rules...
Put simply, user submitted data should not be locked up in one site. As a core philosophy Whiskey Media feels that the hard work of our individual sites' communities should be usable (within reason) by that same community. We also generally believe in karma, and though we are admittedly pretty scared about giving away all this data, we think at the end of the day it's the right thing to do. All we ask in return is that you link back to us and help us build bigger sites.
If you are using our database as a core part of your service across multiple pages, please include the "Whiskey Powered" icon in your footer on all pages.
On pages that reference a single content object (such as a character, concept, location or franchise) please provide the following sentence somewhere on that page/screen.
